They felt heard
"From the beginning, he made us feel comfortable and taken care of. He listened to what we wanted... Once the reception started, he completely delivered."
From the Old City to Farragut to the foothills of the Smokies, we're the DJ couples book when they want a packed floor all night and one person running the day so they can actually be in it.

We don't just know music, we know the venue. We've filled floors across Knoxville and East Tennessee, from downtown lofts to mountain-view farms to lakeside estates, and we plan around each room's flow, sound and crowd, down to which song your grandmother needs to hear before she heads home early.
We travel across East Tennessee for weddings in:
Getting married just outside Knoxville? Ask, we very likely cover your town.
Yes, we serve Knoxville. One DJ, one wedding, and transparent pricing: your complete number in writing before you sign.
The same setup that fills a barn will empty a brick-walled loft by nine. Tell us where you are getting married and we will tell you how we would run that room, before you book anything.
Brick, timber and high ceilings, sound that bounces hard. The volume that feels right at the booth is punishing by the bar. We set for the room, not for the meter, so your toasts land and your grandmother can still hear the table talk.
Long rooms, open beams, and a floor that fills from one end. Power and load-in are the real work here, and the dancing lives or dies on where the booth sits. We plan both before the day, in writing.
Ceremony one place, cocktails another, dinner a third, and a view nobody wants to miss. Three setups, one timeline. The flow between spaces is the whole job, and it is the part we map to the minute.
House rules, house AV, a hard curfew, and a coordinator who has seen everything. We arrive early, we get along with the staff, and we hit the end time without your last song getting cut.
Getting married somewhere not on this list? That is the first question we ask on your call, and the answer changes the plan.
Knoxville sits an hour from the mountains that gave American music the string band, and a short drive from Bristol, where the 1927 sessions first put country on record. At a reception that shows up when a fiddle break pulls three generations onto the floor at once, and when a song your grandparents danced to still works at eleven at night. Placed right, it does. Placed wrong, it clears the room.
Hope is not a plan, and the parts of your day that matter most should not run on it. These five sit in your contract, in writing, so the night still sounds like the two of you at eleven o'clock as much as it did at six.
Yours, not ours. We say what needs saying, then get out of the way. Nobody came to hear the DJ talk.
The songs you asked for get played. The ones you banned stay banned, all night, no exceptions. Your list runs the night, not a house playlist.
Right song, right minute. No party games, no forced line dances, nothing your friends would put on their group chat for the wrong reason.
We ask how you want people introduced, in what order, and how every name is said. Then we get it right the first time, on the mic, in front of everyone.
Is the DJ you get. The voice on your planning call is the voice on the microphone. No substitutes, no subcontractors.
◆ The Packed Floor Promise
Reading the room and keeping it moving is the whole job, and we plan it like one: a written game plan for your floor, and a written backup plan so nothing can knock your night off course. The biggest worry on your list simply isn't yours anymore. It's ours.
"From the beginning, he made us feel comfortable and taken care of. He listened to what we wanted... Once the reception started, he completely delivered."
"Every transition was smooth, the energy stayed high, and the dance floor stayed packed. Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had."
"He came fully prepared and kept the energy high throughout the entire event. His ability to read the crowd made the experience seamless and fun."
ONE WEDDING PER DATE
Not two. Not three. One.
The math is simple and it is the whole point: one date, one couple, one DJ. Book it and it is off the board for everyone else. Great DJs book 9–12 months in advance. Sorting it early is not about pressure, it is about crossing off the vendor that decides how the last four hours of your day feel.
Hi, I'm DJ Dream. I've spent ten years and countless weddings learning to read a room, and I've been reading Knoxville rooms long enough to know that a Sevierville barn at ten and an Old City loft at ten are two different nights.
No call center. No rotating roster. No cheese. When you hire a DJ you should know exactly who is showing up, and here it is one person, accountable for your night from the first planning call to the last song, just as invested in your grandmother's request as your first dance.
"A wedding isn't a gig. It's a room full of people who love you, waiting for a reason to get up."
It is the whole first half of the job. Your planning call is you talking and us writing: your story, your people, the songs that have to be played and the ones that must never be. The night gets built from your answers instead of a template. If a guest requests something on your banned list, it never reaches the speakers and they never find out why.
Our packages are $795 for the reception, $995 for cocktail hour and reception, and $1,195 for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Every package includes a professional MC. You get your exact, all-in number in writing on your planning call, with nothing added after. See what is in each package.
Great DJs book 9 to 12 months in advance, and we only take one wedding per date. If your date matters, check it early. The sooner it's locked, the sooner it's one less thing to plan.
We've played weddings across Knoxville, Farragut, Maryville, Alcoa, Sevierville, Oak Ridge, Lenoir City and the surrounding East Tennessee communities, from downtown lofts to mountain-view farms to lakeside estates. Good chance we've worked your venue, or one just like it.
Yes, and it is a different job than an indoor ceremony. Wind takes a lapel mic apart, there is rarely power where the ceremony actually happens, and the walk from ceremony site to reception space is usually longer than anyone plans for. We handle battery power, wind protection on the mic, and a timeline that accounts for moving your guests. All of it agreed before the day.
It changes the timeline more than the music. Guests coming over the mountains arrive in waves, and a first dance called at the wrong moment happens in front of a half-empty room. We build the schedule around when people are actually in their seats, not around when the printed timeline says they should be.
We plan backward from it. Plenty of East Tennessee venues stop the music at ten or eleven, and the difference between a great ending and an abrupt one is whether the last forty minutes were designed or improvised. We pick the closer with you in advance and we protect the time it needs, so the night ends on your song instead of on a light switch.
Yes, and it's the same person all night. Announcements, introductions, toast cues, timeline: one voice, zero hand-offs, so your reception never stalls between moments. It's half of what "be a guest at your own wedding" means.
Never expected, always appreciated. $50 to $200 is typical if the night earned it. Honestly? A glowing review and a referral mean even more.
Half an hour, and mostly you talking. Bring the songs you need played, the ones you never want to hear again, and how the two of you got here. You leave with your date confirmed, your Reception Blueprint sketched, and your price in writing. No deposit, no pitch. If we are wrong for your wedding we will tell you and send you somewhere better.
